Dr. Sarah Laliberté Joins King Animal Hospital

Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist

DVM, DVSc, ACVIM

Dr. Sarah  Laliberté earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Ontario Veterinary College (OVC), in 2017, before completing a rotating internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at a specialty and referral hospital in Ontario (MOVEH). Following this, she returned to OVC, in the Mona Campbell Animal Cancer Center, to pursue an interest in cancer care and diagnostics, where she completed a specialty internship followed by a residency and Doctorate of Veterinary Science (DVSc) in Oncology.

During her training at OVC, Dr. Laliberté contributed to research in veterinary oncology—including a multi-year retrospective study comparing first and second opinion histopathology and its effect on patient outcomes as well as laboratory research focusing on urothelial carcinoma.

In 2022, Dr. Laliberté earned her board certification with the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Oncology.
