At King Animal Hospital in King City, Ontario, our small animal cardiology service is led by Dr. Sheena Wong, a board-certified veterinary cardiologist with specialized expertise in diagnosing and treating heart disease in dogs and cats. Whether your family veterinarian has detected a heart murmur, abnormal rhythm, or concerning symptoms such as coughing, fatigue, or difficulty breathing, our cardiology team is here to provide expert evaluation and compassionate care.

DR. SHEENA WONG

Board-Certified Cardiologist
Dr. Sheena Wong graduated in 2015 from the Ontario Veterinary College and then worked in emergency medicine, shelter medicine, and general practice throughout southern Ontario. She completed a small animal rotating internship at the University of Saskatchewan in 2021.
After this, she moved to New York to pursue a cardiology residency at a private practice from 2021-2024. In 2024, Dr. Wong earned her board certification and became a diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine in Cardiology. She is passionate about all aspects of cardiology, and has a special interest in congenital heart diseases and arrhythmias.
