Dr Charlie Brincin Joins King Animal Hospital

DVM, Dip ECVS (Small Animal Surgery), MRCVS

Dr. Charlie Brincin graduated from the University of Nantes in France in 2018 and quickly pursued advanced surgical training through rotating internships in both France and the UK. Following a surgical internship at Bristol Vet Specialists, Dr. Brincin completed a rigorous residency in Small Animal Surgery at the same UK institution, earning board certification as a Diplomate of the European College of Veterinary Surgeons (Dip ECVS) in 2025.

Dr. Brincin brings expertise in all aspects of small animal surgery, with a strong focus on orthopedic and spinal procedures—such as cranial cruciate ligament repair, fracture management, and thoracic/spinal decompression—as well as minimally invasive surgical techniques. Their clinical skill is backed by publications including a study on pancarpal arthrodesis in dogs.

Now based in Ontario, Dr. Brincin is thrilled to join King Animal Hospital and expand their surgical services to Canadian pets and their families. They are available for both orthopedic and soft tissue surgery referrals, including emergency transfers.
