Dr. Jaime A. Chandler Joins King Animal Hospital

DVM, DACVECC, Critical Care Specialist

Dr. Chandler graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College at the University of Guelph, then completed a rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Michigan Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Chandler worked as an emergency veterinarian at the London Veterinary Emergency Clinic for a year before pursuing a residency. She completed a residency in Emergency and Critical Care at the world’s largest non-profit animal hospital, the Animal Medical Center in NYC, and became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC).

Dr. Chandler has been working in the GTA for over 10 years as a small animal critical care specialist in a private practice. She has been involved in caring for patients as well as teaching and mentoring veterinary interns and hospital staff. Some of her professional interests include: transfusion medicine, toxicities, pain management and endocrine emergencies.
