Dr. Sabrina Martens Joins King Animal Hospital

Emergency Veterinarian

Dr. Martens earned a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and a master’s degree in physical chemistry from the University of Waterloo before obtaining her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree at the Ontario Veterinary College in 2016. She then completed a small animal rotating internship at the Veterinary Emergency Clinic (VEC) South Toronto, followed by a specialty internship in neurology at the Ontario Veterinary College. Since then, Dr. Martens has gained valuable experience practicing emergency medicine at specialty and referral hospitals in Ontario.  She now brings her comprehensive background to the King Animal Hospital ER team, where she is committed to providing high-quality, compassionate treatment for pets in need of urgent and emergency care.
